Caterpillar recognizes Gainwell for the single largest HRV order from HZL

Gainwell Mining team has been recognized by Caterpillar for achieving record sales with Hindustan Zinc Limited during 2021 in the Underground Hard Rock Vehicles (HRV) business segment. The order comprising 34 units of Cat equipment marks the single largest HRV order from HZL.

With a broad line of products and technology integrated solutions to address mining’s toughest challenges coupled with an aggressive delivery commitment and remarkable depth of technical resources, Gainwell has created a winning solution for Hindustan Zinc, India’s largest and world’s second largest zinc-lead miner.

The 34 units comprising AD63, R3000, R2900, AD30, R1600 and R1300 have been commissioned at Sindesar Khurd, Rampura Agucha, Zawar and Rajpura Dariba mines. This order marks the introduction of AD63 in India and also includes the first ever 8-year MARC on this fleet. The large dumpers come with HVAC system that reduce idle time. The team also achieved 69% PINS in Trucks and Loaders during the period.
